Thank you for your support. This sweet girl now has her forever home with a vet tech and her family. She immediately took to them and they fell in love with her. We received a couple of pictures of her at her new home and I am sure that is a smile on her face! So happy for her and them. Thanks again, Rescue Me.

I didn't even have a picture of Brady when I posted and, only a week later, he was adopted into a wonderful home. My husband and I can't thank Rescue Me enough for helping us through this very emotional and difficult time. This is a wonderful service for both those needing adoption and those wanting to adopt. It's such a blessing to know that Brady has a good home thanks to Rescue Me and the great people who use this service.

I rescued a breed I'm familiar with: Blackmouth Curs. Rescue Me is a wonderful site to find a wonderful dog. I will use Rescue Me to adopt only from shelters and foster homes from now on.

Thank you, Rescue Me! King, an eight year old retired mountain lion hunting dog, had been at our shelter for a year before finding just the right home. Sweet but prey driven, he wasn't the right fit for every lifestyle. He sure is the right fit for his new home! His owner is a former marine who lives alone. King goes everywhere with him and has a wonderful life. We are so happy for them both!

I was contacted by a young couple just starting out. They jumped through all my hoops, had good viable contacts, sent me texts and photos about my dog. Rescue Me is a good website. Make sure you double check those references. We asked for a homing fee, but waived it. He was taking out the money and we declined because they were a great fit.

First of all, I have met two very kind and wonderful families through this organization. Loretta Lynn was possibly going to be adopted by a wonderful family in Arizona, but it didn't work out due to getting her transported. Then a wonderful couple from Michigan who have recently lost Hazel, their Blackmouth Cur, saw Loretta Lynn's post and contacted me. We have talked on the phone as well as exchange pictures. They are huge animal lovers as I am. It's a blessing to know Loretta is going to a good loving home. I'm grateful for Rescue Me!

I had to re-home Zach for a family member who had been admitted to a long term rehab facility. I found out that Black Mouth Curs are a difficult breed to place. Zach found a wonderful home with a family who already have two Black Mouth Curs, so they are very familiar with the breed. They are an active family so he will be able to get his energy out. They sent me a video of him happily playing with his new siblings a few days after going to his new home. Thank you, Rescue Me, for helping me find a proper home for Zach.

Papa showed up at my house starved, bones showing and full of fleas. After he started gaining weight, I reached out to several people and rescue sites. It wasn't until I posted on Rescue Me that I started to get inquiries. After a few misses, a couple contacted me. They had recently lost their Black Mouth Cur to cancer. We exchanged information and photos and they fell in love! Now, from such a terrible past, Papa has a bright future! Thank you Jeff Gold and Rescue Me for having a place to make families whole.

My email I sent was responded to within hours. We drove three and a half hours to pick Camo up. We had a beautiful ride back home. The foster home for Camo was very informative. He has found his forever home. Thank you, Rescue Me, for helping us find our perfect family pet.

My husband and I had been looking for a large dog to add to our little fur family. My husband is particularly fond of Ridgebacks/Blake Mouth Curs. We came across Elli's post on Rescue Me. She is a Black Mouth Cur/Ridgeback mix, and we instantly had to have her. Martha at Pet Rescue Team, had Elli, where we drove to pick her up that next Sunday. She has been such an amazing addition to our family. She gets along great with our little Chihuahua, is doing incredible at potty training, and the most fascinating thing we've learned about Elli so far is that she trails my horse! We took her out to the ranch with us one day, and my husband stayed on foot behind my horse to make sure Elli wouldn't run away. Instead of running away, she stayed with us the entire time, and stopped whenever my horse stopped! Anyways, I can go on and on about how amazing this little bundle of joy has been ever since we adopted her. Without this website, we would have never found such a great companion. Eager to see what else she's capable of as she grows with us and our family!

I want to thank Rescue Me for creating this website to help people who have dogs and cats show up but are not in the rescue business. This sweet little girl has been adopted by a wonderful family and she was a present for a young man who became ill and was in a state of depression after being ill and having lost his other Pit Bull. I got a call after they took her home to him and his father said with tears his son had not smiled in a long time. Merry Christmas, Silver. We were glad to foster you until you got your forever home sweet girl. I am happy for you and your new family.

We found Jack and Stella on Rescue Me and, a few months later, when we realized they were not a good fit in our suburban environment, we sadly posted them on Rescue Me again. We also worked through local shelters and friends who work with various rescues. But it was the Rescue Me post that ultimately led to their placement in what we hope will be their forever home. We are so grateful for Rescue Me's service.

This little boy fit right in with this family and everyone is involved is thrilled! He won the family lottery! Thank you Rescue Me! This is not just a life that was saved, but life that has blessed and enriched all involved!

Three more of my guys found homes with the help of Rescue Me. Solomon went to a little girl, who had a bad experience with a big dog and is going to be her sweet, big teddy bear. And Merrin, along with his brother, Bane (not pictured), went to a very nice family and are going to live on 10 plus acres of farmland to rule over and run around. Thanks so much for uniting my babies with awesome homes! Never could have done it on our own!

One of my little men, Sam, found a forever home all the way across the country. His new family is great and are sure to give him all the love and care he deserves. They never would have found each other if not for the help of Rescue Me. His brother, Nullah, also pictured, found a home as well thanks to this site. He is going to be a 'river dog'. Thanks so much!

This pup found his home tonight with an amazing family complete with a little girl. They did find him on Rescue Me and we couldn't be happier. The rescue I work with hasn't utilized this site much yet, but I have had nothing but positive things to say about how far it goes with getting our guys exposure. Thanks for all you do.

I found your site through a friend and fell in love instantly with this sweet boy. I called the shelter and was told he was already adopted so I reached out to Janelle. She was able to confirm he wasn't and gave me details about his disposition. He's a wonder addition to our home and we wouldn't have found him without the help of Rescue Me!

Precious had been hit by a truck, suffered a badly broken leg, and been shot at as she scavenged, starving, looking for food. She wandered onto our property and I knew I had to do something. I reached out to my community via the internet and wow, the response was incredible. A number of donors came together to cover nearly $1000 in expenses for Precious. Her leg was amputated. She had many return trips to the vet for setbacks. But in a few weeks she was healed, gaining weight, energetic, and happy. The only site I used to post for her adoption was Rescue Me. A man hundreds of miles from me who recently lost his BMC wanted her. We met midway for the introduction and it was love at first sight. Precious went to her forever home that day, loved.

Thank you, Rescue me, so much in helping us place so many rescues into forever loving homes. Every time an awesome dog or cat is adopted, we have room to save the life of another. It is so encouraging to see such progress in our small rural community!! Thank you so much from all of us. If we did not have your help, we would not have been able to place dogs and cats all over the country. We are so thankful for the exposure!!

Henley was adopted by a lady that saw her on Rescue Me. I could not have asked for a better person to take her. She is a dog trainer and loves animals. I could immediately tell that they were a match for each other and that the lady really cared for her. I'm so pleased with the home found for her by using this site.

We dearly loved our dog, but needed to rehome him. His breed is a tough one to adopt out, but through Rescue Me a family in a nearby town found us and it was a good match! We're so grateful for Rescue Me as you kept our dog from having to be put down.

Well I didn't think Wild Bill would ever adopted. I rescued him after being abandoned in a warehouse bathroom last July. I already have 3 rescued dogs and even if I though I would have liked to have kept him I'm not selfish!!!! This is a special dog that is born to hunt and have room to roam. I wanted that life for him! I received a call from a lady looking specifically for this breed for her retired dad that currently had (2) 8 year old black mouth kerrs and had owned that breed of dogs since he was a kid. Here is the great part. This man loves his dogs and they live on his 400 acres in East Texas. Wild Bill will be learning a trait and have fun chasing hogs, working cattle playing in woods and swimming in one of several ponds and lakes on the property. The new owner also mentioned that this was an exceptional dog and was very happy and excited an about training him. (Including riding on the tractor with him) Yes it was sad packing up his toys, and loading him up to leave his buddies but he now can live the life he deserves with people that will love him too! Thank you RESCUE ME for this service that means so much for all the breeds in need of a happy home and love! I also would like to thank the man's daughter that lives in Colorado for deciding to rescue instead of buying from a breeder and taking the long distance time to help her dad and especially the gentleman that drove all the way from East Texas to adopt and escort Wild Bill to his new home Oh yes, we plan to load up the pack and fishing poles soon and go visit Wild Bill at his new home! Thanks again Rescue Me!!!!!!!!!

Dear Mr. Gold, I have to say that when I first took in Maggie and her 12 pups I was very nervous about finding homes for them. As I learned, the Black Mouth Cur is a fantastic and multi-talented dog. That fact coupled with the fact that I live in a mostly rural state provided plenty of terrific opportunities for these dogs. As of yesterday 11 of the 12 pups have been adopted. I am so grateful to this site for your part in making the miracles happen for these wonderful and adorable dogs. Lahoma Roebuck

Hi Jeff, Woody and his sister, Marley, who I had not yet put up on your site, were both adopted by the same person through an ad on Rescue Me! These beautiful Black Mouth Curs, who escaped euthanasia in a kill shelter by a hair, will now live out their lives on a 100 acre farm in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. The couple adopting them lost their rescued Black Mouth Cur of several years to a long battle with lymphoma and chemo therapy. They were very glad to find my sister and brother black mouth curs from your site where I had posted Woody. I followed up with a video of these two and sent them to the couple. It was love at first site. I will be delivering these two doggies to their furrever homes in the next few weeks and enjoy a few days of the cool climate in the mountains myself . It is just a story that is almost too good to be true for all concerned.
